I fly to Block Island at least 15 times a year. We always make sure to get there for 4th of July and a great day at the beach. Town Beach is great fun with the kids, body surfing in the clean clear Atlantic Ocean. My new favorite restaurant on the island is Eli's. You just cant beat it for the perfectly presented seafood dishes. Great hand at spices and balance on the plate. I included the current menu. My daughter had the lamb meatballs - they were great. I had the Pesto crusted Mahi - perfectly cooked, moist fish filet. You have to try this restaurant. Yes - it doesnt have a great views of the ocean; but what it has is a great staff and very good food. It is a small restaurant - I am not sure if they take reservations but well worth it. Also, I dont believe that they are open for lunch - only dinner.
